If you are
keen enough as a campus students or rather you happen to be in campus for a
while, you will easily realize a number of gentlemen who will like to be
noticed. They will do anything jut to be the talk of anyone who sees them. Not
that they will be spoken of the good things they have done in the school
fraternity and the society but for how their appearance is.
For
instance, a number who will like to be attention seekers in the university ways
as they stroll with their girlfriends have the following characteristics.
1.
Dressing
In most
cases, they will keep hair which I will term as kinky and shaggy. Some will
colour their shaggy dreaded hair with yellow, blond and maroon. Their clothes
are rugged with screaming colours. Mostly, they will wear vests with tattered pair
of trousers that show their naked skins. Jewelleries are their choice with bling bling on their ostrich necks,
pierced ears, noses, eyebrows, mouths and every finger with its woman. They
call themselves the swag team with sagged baggy pair of trousers and shorts.
2.
Language
Their
language is cheap, full of sheng and may not make sense at most times. They
will tend to talk to people in an unfamiliar language such as the Rastafarians’
language. For instance, I happened to have a chat with two of these type of
guys in the campus streets and I realized that they talk unnecessarily. They
will argue on small things loudly and raise pointless topics. Sadly, I had to
agree with their talks not knowing I was fed up. What they don’t remember is
that, they are making a fool out of their talks that may leave an audience
startled.
3.
Girlish behaviour
These
category ape the walking style of ladies. They talk and act like ladies. In
most cases, they will look inferior to attack, as they defend themselves in a laddish
manner. In several occasions, they like walking in a company of ladies since
other men act like a threat to them. It is easy to identify such men. Who
cannot identify a donkey in a flock of sheep? Furthermore, they will add
‘mouthy’ pic styles in their Instagrams and ‘advertise’ their ladies on social
media by adding flashy pictures day after day.
4.
Gadgets
Every campus
chic and boy wants the newest gadgets in the market. But, this type of boys
will always walk around with their big sized gadgets in their hands. At most
situations, they will ensure that the tablets are on full volume mode in
meetings to distract the now attentive audience.
5.
Public Relations
Well, these
kind of boys will always be identified with ‘pretty and spoilt’ campus girls.
These are the girls who will where skimpy clothing in the cold season as if it
is a moment at the sunny beach in Mombasa and cotton jackets in the sunny
season. Their relations revolve around the same opposite character personnel. Who cannot identify a boy a group of
attention seeking ladies walking in the campus streets?
