Campus Thief Varnishes in the Midst of Throngs of Comrades

The other degree in Campus
Late yester night around 10pm, a pursuit of a thief caused a commotion in the campus vicinity. It was alleged that the thief aimed at transferring some Mpesa money from one of the comrades in Hostel H since he knew the pin. As he was busy with his activity, the owner caught him red-handed and screamed calling him a thief.

Then, the night was as usual as the comrades continued with their night activities. Suddenly, screams and vuvuzela buzzing sounds engulfed the surrounding. It is well-known that thievery has been the major issue affecting the Moi University comrades. The angry comrades set off for the pursuit of the thief who disappeared in their midst.

By then, security patrol was in progress and there were some police at the Students’ Centre. The thief was believed to have been rescued by the police who took off from the scene in their patrol van. Drama continued as the comrades chased the police patrol van from the Students’ Centre through Hostel M and L which was heading Mabs.  Comrades could not continue the chase due said gunshots that dispersed them.

Until now, it has not been clearly defined what really happened though a number of students are amused with the whole event.
