Most ladies will publicly deny being side cheat mates with men who are either married or in another relationship. But some will live with it giving reasons to why they are comfortable being the side ‘chics’ to these men. 

For instance, here are some reasons why they will considerably put up with the situation.

Material and money support 
 

Possibly the man is rich in that he can provide material satisfaction. A man who can spend on her and spoil her with gifts is what she wants. As much as she plainly knows she is not the main chic, she will still hang on due to the fact that the guy has class and can offer material and money support.

Some just cannot let go of the fun moments such as expensive trips and dates they are offered.  

Competition

 

Ladies like comparing themselves with each other. Most Nairobian ladies will want their guys to emanate from the likes of Lavington, Riverside, Karen, Embakasi among others.  This comparison brings in a sense of competition where one will want to have a rich, handsome or one with class kind of a guy than her friends. In the end, they get entangled in the side chic situation where they will rather live with it than face the truth.  

Comfort

 

The fear of being single is yet another big problem that is challenging a number. The sense of getting attached to someone comforts them. To them, it is better to be in a partnership kind of a relationship where they get attended to than the normal ones. 

Moreover, some might have undergone a number of heartbreaks until being side mates is never a big deal for them.
